iPod Jukebox: An MP3 DJ Night

"You know what it's like for a friend to pull a few CDs off the shelf and say "Hey, check this out?" Well, the technology [at iPod Jukebox] allowed 13 or so people to do the same favor for a crowd of strangers. Pretty cool."
-- Rob Pegoraro, The Washington Post

Next iPod Jukebox Event: Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Cafe Saint-Ex, Washington D.C.

So I just realized that while I'd typed up the setlist, I'd never posted it. Oops. Here's August's all-singing, all-dancing playlist, complete with the first-ever iPod Jukebox appearance of the New Kids On The Block. Will, your mother must be so proud.

September Date Confirmed

The date of September's iPod Jukebox has now been confirmed. We'll be at Saint-Ex on September 6, the first Wednesday of the month. If you show up on the 13th -- our regularly scheduled date -- you'll hear some great music from DJs Sad and Lonely, but they're not going to let you play your own.

Though the date has changed, everything else will remain the same: We'll be there sometime after 8:30 for signups, the first iPod plays at 9 and everything wraps up around 1:30 a.m. Any questions? Send us an e-mail via the link on the right.

Cheers.

September is Subject to Change

Hi everyone. Thanks for another great iPod Jukebox last Wednesday. We were busy up until last call, and only one person managed to DJ twice.

On a different note, we just realized that the second Wednesday in September is a Very Important Birthday for one of your hosts, and we may switch the date of iPod Jukebox accordingly. We're trying to get something finalized quickly, so keep checking this site for more information.

Cheers.

Also, we wanted let everyone know that we're down with MySpace. Want to be our friend? Click here.

Cheers.
