iPod Jukebox: An MP3 DJ Night

"You know what it's like for a friend to pull a few CDs off the shelf and say "Hey, check this out?" Well, the technology [at iPod Jukebox] allowed 13 or so people to do the same favor for a crowd of strangers. Pretty cool."
-- Rob Pegoraro, The Washington Post

Next iPod Jukebox Event: Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Cafe Saint-Ex, Washington D.C.

Some things in life are bigger than DJ nights -- presidential debates, for example. We want to apologize to everyone who came out to Saint-Ex on Wednesday for iPod Jukebox and found Bush and Kerry on the televisions and all the speakers. We got started more than an hour after the advertised time, but still had a great night with a lot of new faces. (Congratulations to Kyle, by the way, for setting a new record with 8 songs in 12 minutes.)

Please join us at Saint-Ex on Nov. 10 for the next (politics-free) iPod Jukebox.

Six Months And Counting

Hello everyone.

Six months ago, we launched iPod Jukebox at Galaxy Hut. It was Washington's first MP3 DJ night, and we had no idea what to expect. Every month has been better than the last, and we truly appreciate all of you who have joined us to have a drink and share your favorite tunes.

Come celebrate this anniversary with us at Cafe Saint-Ex on Wednesday, Oct. 13. No presents are necessary -- just bring your lovely selves and your MP3 players. We'll see you there.
